One to one sessions are tailored to your individual needs. Depending on your body/mind constitution (vata, pitta or kapha), your health and lifestyle I can design a programme which will be most beneficial for you. This programme will be reviewed and adjusted in accordance with the progress you make.

The purpose of yoga is to bring your body and mind back into balance.
One to one classes give you a better opportunity to improve your posture and breathing patterns.
I will be able to offer you more precise guidance and, where appropriate, fine tuning and adjustment in asana practice. The body responds really well to the adjustment made by a teacher. It’s a different way of communication. Sometimes when we follow our teacher’s verbal instructions or visual demonstrations in class we learn how to do a posture in a certain way, which may not be the right way.
Once you have received appropriate adjustments, the energy starts to flow through the body and you’ll understand how this particular posture feels. Then once you know the feeling that you should experience in this posture, you will more likely be able to adjust yourself better.
Each individual has a different prevailing learning style: visual, auditory or kinaesthetic (movement). In a one to one class I can maximize your learning ability by engaging your dominant learning style. I have a lightly-hearted teaching approach. I will challenge you as well as give you support and guidance. You will be encouraged to practice at home between classes according to your tailor-made programme.
Price 1hour class – £25 -£35 (depending on your individual circumstances and class location. Discounts are given for block bookings).
Place and time
I can teach you in the comfort of your own home (men by recommendation only) or at my home yoga studio in Patcham. I can be flexible with the time and day of classes, and it can vary week to week, depending on your schedule.
How many sessions will you need?
It depends on the individual. Yoga practice changes your body and mind subtly through time. I suggest to start with a course of 5 to 10 sessions, although even a single session may be of benefit if you are already practising yoga in a class.
